UGA "Tramin-Söll"
The territory of the new UGA extends, at an average altitude, along the Mendola massif west of Tramin. It is characterized by terraces and steep slopes shaped by erosive phenomena of glacial, alluvial, and detrital origin. Specifically, the vineyard from which the Gewürztraminer "Concerto Grosso" originates is located at 430 meters above sea level with a southeast exposure. The microclimate is further enhanced by strong temperature variations between day and night, afternoon winds such as the Ora, and cool currents coming from Mount Roen. The soil, rich in clay, limestone, and dolomitic rock, gives the wines extraordinary complexity and marked minerality.
