Elena Walch and Cantina Terlan at Wine Spectator’s “New York Wine Experience”
Two top producers from South Tyrol featured in the exclusive selection of the world-renowned event hosted by the U.S. magazine Wine Spectator
The Elena Walch estate and Cantina Terlan made a strong impression at the exclusive “New York Wine Experience,” which took place from October 16 to 18, 2025, at the Marriott Marquis in the heart of Manhattan.
The event, organized by the U.S. wine publication Wine Spectator, is considered one of the most glamorous and influential occasions in the wine world. Karoline Walch presented the family estate’s iconic white wine, the Grande Cuvée “Beyond the Clouds” 2022, while Cantina Terlan showcased its flagship wine, Terlaner I Primo Grande Cuvée 2021. Together, they sent a powerful message about the quality and international recognition of South Tyrolean wine.
More than 250 top wineries from around the world – including 60 from Italy – presented their finest wines, each rated at least 90 points by Wine Spectator. The participation of Elena Walch and Cantina Terlan in the “New York Wine Experience” is therefore not only a success for the two producers themselves but also a significant boost for the entire South Tyrolean wine industry on the international stage.
